Generous with the samples, decent prices, big portions.. this place has every virtue of a neighbourhood bakery. The only thing is that the bread felt a bit light rather than hefty. Well.. given the price point, I suppose that can’t be helped, right?
Having been to so many bakeries, I’m slowly starting to see a pattern.. the concept of the bread changes depending on whether a place positions itself as a neighbourhood bakery or as a specialist bakery. Someone like me, who throws time and money at eating, is bound to prefer the specialist bakeries.. and this place seems to have positioned itself nicely as a neighbourhood bakery.
