Whenever I have some time I’ve been ticking items off my mental bucket list one by one, and one of them was Banryongsan. I’d heard the gukbap was that good, and that it’s a nice spot for soju in the evening too.

The clear broth is impressive. I’ve eaten so much gukbap over the years, but at this place I met gukbap on a whole new level. It’s hugely popular with the office workers around here, so apart from having to queue if you go at lunchtime, everything about it is great.
