Before heading to Busan I made a list of things I absolutely had to eat, and pork gukbap came out on top. On a local’s recommendation I went to Ssangdungi Gukbap, supposedly the best of them all.

Order the 8,000-won gukbap and you get a plate of this on the side. The taste.. is the best. A whole new frontier of pork gukbap.

Gukbap

It’s packed full. The depth of the broth, the clean taste with no porky smell.. this might just be the best gukbap there is. It made the trip to Busan worth it.
