I seem to end up in Tokyo three or four times a year, but when things are busy there is sometimes no room at all for good restaurants. On this trip I finally focused on eating well for the first time in ages, though with my work getting busier and busier, it might be the last time in my life.
As soon as I arrived in Tokyo I headed to Asakusa and had my first meal at Manos.

The soup too

Probably fried shrimp
Crispy outside, juicy inside. It is really something that proper cooking like this costs 3,000 yen.

Pumpkin soup
Simple ingredients, but delicious.
Beef stroganoff

The taste of the original.
Jam
You put it in your black tea.
