I went out to a shrimp truck away from town to try the garlic shrimp the North Shore is famous for. I think it was about a 15-minute walk.

This is roughly what the truck looks like.

It is not exactly cheap. More tourists showed up than I expected.

Funnily enough, a lot of Koreans came too. The Koreans were eating at the Korean-run garlic shrimp truck right next door.

The garlic shrimp I had been looking forward to came out. On its own it is a bit greasy, so you have to douse it in lemon juice. It was not as amazing as I had hoped, just a novelty really. Going to the North Shore just for this does not seem like the wisest idea.

Well, this one was cheap. Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good.
