The Midtown boom seems to have died down a bit, but the great shops inside are still there. Among them, Jean-Paul Hévin is famous for its strict temperature control and tends to limit entry quite tightly, but this time there were hardly any people, so it was really easy to get in.
25th anniversary chocolates
My visit happened to coincide with the brand’s 25th anniversary, so there were lots of limited-edition items. I tried this and that, and every one of them was a hit. That is Jean-Paul Hévin for you.
Macaron
Since I was here anyway, I had to taste at least one of each signature item.
Nectar
A fruit juice with a wonderful aroma. Excellent, as expected.
Chocolate cake
This is a place where the quality is guaranteed no matter what you order. It is not cheap, but I like places like this. There is a little thrill in ordering something you do not really know.
