With the weekend here, I went back to Kameido. I was curious about the bread at Julian Bakery, a bakery that came over from Hawaii.
Turtle bread
This is not from Julian Bakery. I spotted it while walking down a street in Kameido. So cute.

The place is really small. It feels full with about three people inside. Even so, they sell a wide variety of bread, which was impressive.
Chocolate danish
A danish packed full of chocolate.
An ciabatta
They say this is the shop’s specialty: a ciabatta stuffed with sweet red bean paste. The ciabatta is tasty on its own, but the red bean paste goes with it better than you would expect.
Croissant
Crisp and flaky on the outside, delicious.

Julian Bakery in Kameido is a bakery with very reasonable prices and excellent bread. That day I mostly bought sweet breads, but the savoury breads all looked delicious too. I will have to drop by whenever I get the chance.
