I had to go into the office on the weekend, and after working for a bit I could not be bothered to go out, so I ordered jjajangmyeon for delivery. Kagin is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant in Iriya, and it turns out they deliver to the Ueno/Asakusa area.
The 1,000-yen jjajang
It looks ordinary enough, but the taste is almost identical to a Chinese place back in Korea. The price is double.. but plenty of places cannot reproduce this taste, so ordering it was worth it.
The noodles
The noodles had inevitably gone a bit soggy. Still, they were at an edible level.
Danmuji (yellow pickled radish) and so on..
They also sell gan-jjajang and jjamppong, and those were decent too. If you do not think about the price, it seems like a good place. There are plenty of places that taste worse (Pyonpyonsha, for example), so I should be happy with this.
