I’d heard rumors of an oden shop in Nihonbashi with great value for money, so I went to check it out. For a specialist oden place, the prices were really cheap.
This is the place.
Sake: Koshino Kagetora
It’s an extra-dry (gokukarakuchi) sake. Something a bit milder might have gone better with oden.
We ordered the assorted oden for three.

Overall it’s strong on both sweetness and saltiness.

I can’t say the taste was all that great. It falls well short of its reputation. We just had a little something and headed home.
