Mount Makuragi is about 12 km by car from where I live. When something is that close you somehow never bother going, so I had never taken photos there, but this time I made the time and went.
It’s a mountain, but you can drive almost all the way to the top. There’s a temple at the summit.

It’s a nice spot. Not worth coming from far away just for this, but if you live nearby it’s a place you’d want to visit often. The night view is supposed to be great, but there are no lights at night, so it’s a bit scary. Once autumn deepens and the bugs are gone, I’m going to head up one night with a flashlight and a tripod.
