Takamatsu, the hub of the Sanuki region, has a beautifully done-up harbor. That’s because most of its traffic with the mainland goes by boat. It’s only about 10 minutes from downtown, and I have to say I was a little jealous of the people who get to live near a spot this nice.

A secluded spot
Look closely and you’ll spot quite a few couples.
A moored ship and a restaurant
It’s not big, but the atmosphere reminded me a bit of Kobe.
The ferry terminal
A Ferris wheel I found while wandering the harbor streets
A small Ferris wheel tucked inside the newly built harbor district. With nobody around, the harbor streets felt somehow lonely and romantic at the same time.
