I went with a friend to an izakaya that’s known for its ochazuke.
Unusually for Japan, it came out as a whole generous spread..
Impressive, right ^_^; This is a 1,000-yen lunch set. There’s sashimi,
steamed egg custard, and a huge variety of side dishes. But the photos didn’t come out well..
From now on I need to raise the resolution when I shoot food.
Though buying a high-capacity miniSD card comes first.. heh..
Scoop the mixed rice -_- into the bowl, pour over the barley tea from the green pot
in the photo above, and slurp it down, and you’ve got a
fine ochazuke.
The value for money is excellent, so I think I’ll be coming here often ^_^;
