Once you get to a station the size of Nagoya Station, the scale is enormous. There’s a Bic Camera, and Takashimaya (JR Nagoya Takashimaya) is attached to it too. Kind of like Shinjuku, I’d say..
The buildings in front of the station
This feels a bit like Shinjuku too..
An onigiri shop
Didn’t expect a place like this here.
COCOICHI BAKERY
Turns out it’s a bakery run by CoCo Ichibanya, the curry chain.
DIFFERENCE
They were doing a collab with Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash..
Gate Walk
The underground passage at the station.
The department store food hall
It’s huge.
HIGUMA Doughnuts
Took a photo because I liked the design.
NUMBER SUGAR
Looks like Number Sugar has opened here too.
Outside
Very modern.
Outside
Lots of big buildings. Big cities really are different.
Kakuuchi Meishu Koji
This is inside the department store as well, and they’ve got all sorts of things on display.
Drinks
All sorts of things on display.
le suprême
This is a really good bakery, so I usually pick some bread up whenever I’m in Nagoya, but I got there late this time and there wasn’t much left. I’d been stopping by all kinds of places, so there was no way I could’ve made it earlier..
Whisky cheese
Didn’t know this existed.. There’s a Springbank one and a Laphroaig one. Pretty neat. Not cheap though..
Époisses
This one was seriously big, and I think it was around 15,000 yen. The small ones are around 3,000 yen, so the price itself isn’t outrageous.. but going by the amount, you’d need to throw a party for it to make sense. Anyway, they had some unusual cheeses, and big cities really do have lots of fun stuff..
