It is plum flavored, and plum really does suit these gummies, I think.
Egg rolls
Egg rolls I was given as a gift in China. I looked them up and it turns out to be just an ordinary brand. They shed a lot of crumbs, but they were nutty and crisp, so they were pretty good.
Choya’s Golden Balance
This is an umeshu sold only at AEON stores, and even at around 1,200 yen it is genuinely delicious. Umeshu is not better just because it is expensive, it turns out.
Toppai (Pagoda) shaoxing wine
There is a three-year one too, but that is probably for cooking. I would say the five-year is the most mainstream shaoxing wine of them all. Warming it up makes all the off-flavors vanish, which is why it goes so well with Chinese food. The fact that they even sell it in cartons shows just how popular it is.
Big Katsu
This is one of those snacks called dagashi, and it is decent enough.

It is for a Moleskine. There was not much else out there that looked usable. Though these days, thanks to AI, I hardly use my Moleskine at all..

The lens cloth they use at the eyeglass factories in Sabae
I bought one because it is famous, and it is quite good. Glasses end up corroding from human sweat, so apparently you have to wash them with water and detergent regularly, or right after you sweat, and then take the moisture off with a thick cloth like this. Just wiping them dry only scratches the lenses and does no good at all.. You especially need to clean the temples and the nose pads properly. Now that I finally know the right way to do it, I think the glasses I bought this time might last me a good while. All the glasses I have ruined so far are flashing before my eyes.. But breaking them aside, what really bothered me was carrying on wearing them in such a shabby state. From now on I will look after them properly.
