na cafe is a place famous for its crepes.
Inside
There were not all that many people in there.. It is a popular spot, but I got the feeling that is because it runs mostly on takeout. Still, it felt like a decent stop on a date course.

It seems to double as an izakaya and a diner. They sell omurice, taco rice, pasta, loco moco bowls and so on.

It has cream and strawberries inside.
From the side
They take a very thin batter, add tiny chocolate chips and stack layer upon layer, which pushes the toasty, crispy texture as far as it will go. The whipped cream is packed with fruit, so no matter how much you eat the cream never seems to run out. There was not a soggy spot anywhere in the crepe and it stayed crisp to the last bite, and I think this is the first crepe like this in my life. I have pretty much run into the best crepe of my life.
About halfway through
It is still full of cream and fruit. The chocolate went really well with it too. And I had ordered the chocolate crepe, and the fact that the chocolate goes into the batter rather than into the whipped cream is a fresh idea, and it tasted genuinely great.

Segawa Honten, an udon and soba shop
This is said to be the most famous udon shop in Toyohashi. Toyohashi has a specialty called Toyohashi curry udon: rice at the bottom, grated yam over it, then curry udon and a quail egg on top. Famous for letting you eat rice and udon at the same time, I suppose.. It sounds like a strange dish when you hear it described.. Anyway, I mean to try this place the next time I get the chance, though there is no telling when that will be..

The atmosphere is nice.
The bread I bought at Bon Chika
A lemon cookie and a butter roll. They taste exactly the way you expect them to, but the butter roll is loaded with butter, so there is something a little special about it.. If they are pulling it off this well, I would say they are living up to their name as a long-established shop.
