Posting a bit of everything.
Aged Shaoxing wine
This is a Taiwanese Shaoxing wine you can buy in Korea. Warm it up and it tastes pretty good. The value for money is good too, but in Korea it seems to be used mostly for cooking, and there are not many restaurants that pair it with the food. And it goes so well with gyoza, of all things..
The cafe street in Kkachiul
I heard there was a bakery there, so I went to check it out.
A place like this..
But the owner had hurt himself somewhere and the shop was closed for a while.. for someone self-employed the body is the whole business, so I hope he takes good care of it.
The open-run queue in front of Palette Dessert
The weather that day was brutal.. a wind chill of minus 15 degrees or so.. and yet there they are, lining up like that for an hour.. no matter how good those Dubai chewy cookies are, I am not sure this is the right way to go about it.. Koreans are something else..
Yaizu katsuo ramen
I brought it back from Japan, and it is a taste I find myself craving now and then.
Beni Haruka sweet potato chips
I think I eat about one bag of these every year. They are so sweet.
Kaki no Tane Milk & White Chocolate
It says the flavor is approved by pastry chefs, so I just took their word for it..
The explanation on the back
Occitanial shows up here.. the taste was not bad at all..
Rummy
It comes out every year, and this year too.. I have to buy one and eat it, of course..
BOONZA
It is a bokbunja wine, made from Korean black raspberries.
This is the bottle
I tried a taste, and it was very sweet.. when it is this sweet, it is hard to pair with food, except maybe spicy dishes..
