I heard there was a decent sundae-guk place in Singil, so I went over to try it.

This is the place. Looks like there are branches all over.

Honestly, at this point I am not sure it is any different from going to China. Everything they had in the marts in China is here. Chinese marts and restaurants are on the rise in a lot of places in Seoul, and I am not really sure whether that is a good thing or not.

Sigol Sundae

This neighborhood does seem to be turning Chinese, but an authentic Korean sundae place is still open for business..

Simple. I think this place’s strength is that the atmosphere welcomes people eating alone.

After eating well I wandered around the neighborhood, and this area seems to be in the middle of changing too.
