Cheongsil Hongsil: A Potato Soup Spot in Seorae Village

I never imagined there would be a great place to eat in Seorae Village, but there was. I only found out just as I was about to leave the neighborhood.

A place like this

It’s quite large. Their potato soup is famous, but the problem is that if you go after 1 PM, they sometimes run out of it.

So I ordered the soft tofu stew

The value for money is insane, and it tastes great too.

The menu

Looking at the prices, I’m not sure if you realize how impressive it is to see things for 9,000 or 10,000 won these days. However, the spicy stir-fried pork was 20,000 won (though it’s for two people), so it’s a shame I couldn’t try it. I wonder how many people you need to bring along to order that…

Side dishes

Very clean.

Potato soup

This is the potato soup that’s so popular; not only is the portion huge, but the quality of the meat is impressive. I’ve rarely had meat this delicious, and it made me regret all the other pork bone soups I’ve had in the past.

The contents

You’ll feel like you’re about to burst if you finish it all… It’s so well-made that I officially recognize it as the top restaurant in Seorae Village.
