I gave it a try and bought some.

Yakgwa

It used to be hard to get hold of, but these days it doesn’t seem all that difficult. There seems to be some dispute over who the original is, though.. I don’t really know the details myself.

Broken yakgwa

I’ve had Jangin Hangwa several times, not just from here, and it never struck me as especially tasty or especially chewy. I don’t know what it was like way back when they sold it in Uijeongbu, but these days it isn’t on that level..
