Jeopalgye, a Pork Offal Joint in Samsong

There’s a pork offal specialist called Jeopalgye Dwaeji Busok near Samsong Station.

This is the place.

It even has a fairly cute illustration.. Apparently it’s the most famous spot in this neighbourhood..

Grill it up properly and

you get all sorts of cuts. The marinade is on the strong side and it takes a while to grill, but it was tasty. The organ cuts especially can cost more when you order them on their own, so having them come as an assorted platter like this is all the better.

You don’t seem to see places like this much these days. They’ve become pretty hard to find in the city centre.. Good to know one is doing well out in the suburbs at least.

Golbaengi somyeon (spicy sea snails with thin noodles)

This was from the beer place we hit for round two, and it was pretty decent..
