Irish whiskey highball

Maybe because it’s a minor genre, it wasn’t easy to find. Drinking it, there’s a decent amount of alcohol in there and an Irish character to it, so it was good. Plenty of highballs come out in these series, but they aren’t all good.

Ichiran Tonkotsu Honoo

A cup noodle that has just come out. The noodles are about the same as before, and the soup is on the very spicy side. Good when you want something with a bit of a kick. That said, it’s awfully expensive for a cup noodle, so this was a taste and no more..

Summer Angel

It’s a plum, and it’s good. Seasonal fruit like this in Japan has to be eaten while it’s around.

Belgian-style fries..

Far too hard, so not great.

Kappa Ebisen, Shrimp vs Crab

Well.. they say a bit more crab flavour went into it, but I couldn’t really tell. The packaging was cute, and that was about it..

Don Tacos Chili Tacos

A decent nacho chip. Koikeya is pretty good at this sort of thing..

Chainsaw Man Buta Kimu ramen

I bought it because of Makima, and the taste is basically the same as any other pork-kimchi ramen. You need the receipt to enter the campaign, and the problem is that I only found that out after I got home.. you normally throw the receipt away at the convenience store..

Tokachi salami

Edible enough, but not what I’d call amazing. It’s cheap, so I suppose I shouldn’t expect anything grander.

Fruity and Smooth, With Beer White Ale

Drinkable enough, I’d say.

Grown-up Gari Gari Kun, Golden Pineapple

Gari Gari Kun is a very cheap ice bar, and this is the upmarket version with a full 33% pineapple juice in it. It was good.

Black soybean mochi

This one was a bit of a miss. As always, only the good places are actually good..

Yaizu Large Kaki-Pi, Fushi no Tane

Katsuobushi flakes look a lot like kaki no tane, the persimmon-seed-shaped rice crackers, so it’s as if they made one giant kaki no tane – but the taste was ordinary.

Yaizu Katsuo Ramen, renewed

A new version came out with the calories brought down. It made me wonder whether it was a measure against inflation.

Avengers cheese

I bought it because it was cute. The taste, so-so..

Cup Noodle PRO Chili Tomato, high protein and low carb

It’s a little more expensive than the regular version, but I couldn’t really tell the difference in taste. It’s high in protein, so it should be better for you. If you’re thinking about your health, this kind of thing looks like a good bet.
