Views of Hamamatsu Castle

As some of you will know, Hamamatsu is famous for Tokugawa Ieyasu. Not his birthplace, but the place where he built up his power? Something along those lines, anyway, and maybe that is why the castle is so well preserved.

There were more tourists than I expected. Around that time a taiga drama called “Dou suru Ieyasu” was on the air, so I suspect that had something to do with it.
