Things I Bought in February 2023

If you earn money and never spend it, what are you earning it for? That’s the thought I keep having. But if I spend everything I earn, then I end up wondering what on earth I was thinking. So I keep a list of the things I’ve been wanting, and buying them one at a time as money comes in turns out to be a fairly meaningful thing to do… Not that I actually keep a separate list — mostly I just park them in my Amazon or Coupang cart.

The design is lovely and it cuts well, but it is a bit pricey. I think it would make a good gift.

These stainless scissors fit my hand perfectly, so I reach for them all the time. A proper kitchen classic.

The book didn’t differ all that much from what I’d already seen on YouTube. On the plus side, I ordered early, so I got a limited-edition sticker sheet.
Reading Ray Dalio’s Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order right after this one… left this book looking a little shabby.
