I heard a rumour that a good dessert shop had opened in Yeonhui-dong, so I went to have a look. Apparently they do savarin.

On the way

Looks like this neighbourhood has gained a new place worth eating at too.

But they don’t make savarin any more, apparently. A shame, but I’ll just have to taste that one in Japan.

They told me it’s the most famous dessert here, so I ordered it. A wonderful dessert where the detail of all the different ingredients — nuts, orange and so on — really came through. Do try it if you get the chance.

A legendary dessert shop has opened a place in Yeonnam. This neighbourhood is hot right now.

Bada-ae

Winter means yellowtail. The queue is as long as ever again this year. No idea what the connection with Bada Hoe Sarang is.
