How to put it.. rather than being “French style”, the chef is actually French, so it’s simply French. These days I keep eating small, intensely flavoured desserts.. Crémiel isn’t quite my taste, but it does taste good. Europeans eat bread as a staple, so somehow the portions feel generous.. finishing even one whole croissant isn’t easy for me any more..
