I came to Nagasaki Kaido, famous for its Nagasaki champon, to eat champon, but since I was here anyway I had to order a few other things.
A glass of ginger ale..
Everyone’s getting older these days and starting to avoid alcohol.. STEPN especially seems to be draining what’s left of my stamina..
The menu
The prices are on the higher side. Recommended for middle-aged guys who are reasonably comfortable financially.
Otoshi
Simple and tasty.
A plate of sashimi
Perfect if you’re having a drink.
Saezuri
It’s whale meat, and it has a slightly junky flavour a bit like corned beef. Distinctive enough to be fun, but a plate runs 1,200 yen.
Sara udon
As good as ever.
Nagasaki champon
This broth is something I find myself craving now and then. Who knows when I’ll get to eat it again, so this was the time. I was already full and nearly went for the half size, but ordered the regular anyway, and of course I finished it down to the bottom of the bowl.

Such a homey atmosphere.
