Tō-ji in Kyoto

Say “Toji” and a Korean speaker thinks of the word for land, but it is the Japanese reading of 東寺, the temple in the east. It was right by Hatoya, so I popped over for a bit in the morning.

You just take a walk around the neighbourhood and it turns out to be a national treasure.. that is how it goes here..
