This one was drinkable too, I think..

Beer is tasty, but it’s getting a bit heavy for me now.. so I went for a drink like this..

Kirin Ichiban Shibori Zero Sugar

Went for zero sugar for my health’s sake.. the taste isn’t great though..

Meiji Hokkaido Tokachi Smart Cheese, Japanese-style dashi scallop

Surprisingly, the saltiness of the soy sauce and the umami of the shellfish broth combine with the cheese to make an absolutely killer drinking snack. Maybe only middle-aged guys buy this kind of thing, because it shows up in bulk at discount sales..

Maroilles cheese

It was a cheese as pungent as Époisses. An ordinary person would probably say it smells like a sewer.. It’s so strong that I figured it would be better in a sandwich than eaten plain, but sadly all I had at home was shokupan. A baguette would have been nice..

Cross-section

It’s a taste that makes you want wine too.. Some people just can’t eat it, but it’s a flavour I crave regularly..
