Maesawagyu ramen

Just one of those bag ramens.. in the end they all taste about the same. It isn’t especially tastier than the others, but every now and then I get a craving for one.

Gopchang

I think it was somewhere around Sinnonhyeon. Well, it was just so-so.

Ichiran ramen

I bought it at the duty-free shop, and this one is about as easy as a cup ramen. Oddly enough, you boil the noodles and it turns straight into ramen without rinsing them partway through. Normally you have to cook the noodles and the broth separately, so just cutting out that one step makes it easier to make and easier to eat, better all round.

Yeondon Bolkatsu

They’re selling something like menchi katsu under the Yeondon brand.. no matter how good menchi katsu is, it can never reach the level of tonkatsu.. I wonder whether this will end up a plus or a minus..

Japchae over rice

When I order Chinese somewhere these days, I find myself ordering japchae over rice rather than fried rice or jajangmyeon..

A baekban place

Turned out to be a neighborhood baekban place..

Daiginjo ramen

It’s a miso ramen, and the quality is pretty decent.

Rishiri kombu ramen

I liked it for the clean, refreshing taste. It has tororo kombu in it, so the noodles do look a bit odd..

Hokkaido soup curry ramen

This one is decent too. Makes me wonder whether a bad curry even exists.

Ebi ramen

The shrimp flavor is strong on this one too, so I liked it.

Assorted sundae

It’s an Abai gukbap place I go to regularly.. these days gukbap plus sundae is enough to make me burst.. seems the amount I can eat has dropped a lot.

The gukbap is clean-tasting too.
