Pyeonggaok
Mandu jeongol (dumpling hot pot).. This place is roomy and the atmosphere is good, so it seems to be where I end up whenever something business-related comes up. The taste is just so-so, though..
Suyuk (boiled pork)
..is what I think this was, and it was just so-so..
Appagom Tonkatsu
It isn’t the kind of flawless tonkatsu that, say, Yeondon is after.. but it’s decent enough and a thousand or two thousand won cheaper.. so what more could you ask for, really.
Haejangguk
A tasty haejangguk, but.. it’s a bit cramped for going in to drink.. so during Covid it felt a little iffy to go..
Lamb..
Somewhere around Gangnam Station. It’s decent enough.
Jeon (Korean pancake)
Jeon I ordered in during the Covid era.. it’s decent enough..
Rice
This one too.. it was Covid, so I just ordered whatever.
Haejangguk
I think it was probably Chamimat Haejangguk.. the usual franchise taste.
A dakgalbi place
Well.. dakgalbi tastes fine even when it’s thrown together, but there was no place like this in this neighborhood.. so I gave it a go.. the taste isn’t bad, but whether it will do well, who knows..
Poke don
Hawaiian places seem to be doing well these days. Probably because it counts as healthy food.. anyway, it’s a good spot for a meal..
