Eunho Sikdang is a kkori-gomtang (oxtail soup) specialist in Namdaemun. I’d been telling myself I should go someday, and finally the chance came around.

The prices are no joke. That’s exactly why I kept hesitating every time — I wasn’t sure it was worth spending 29,000 won on something like this…

There’s an absolutely enormous chunk of tail in there. The flavor and the meat were both hugely satisfying, but even so, I’m still not sure 29,000 won is a fair price… I do think it’s worth eating once in your life, though.
