On the way back from Gangwon-do I just barely made it to the makguksu place, only to be told the suyuk (boiled meat) had sold out. Such a shame..
Inside
Dongchimi (radish water kimchi)
You can have as much dongchimi here as you could ever want.
Kimchi
This has to go into the makguksu.
Memiljeon (buckwheat pancake)
This one turned out to be a real treat.
Hoe makguksu (with seasoned raw fish)
The quality is pretty good. So this is why Samgyori Dongchimi Makguksu is famous. Next time I would like to visit Gangwon-do with a bit more time to spare.
