This one is pretty good. It costs a bit more, but it’s worth buying. Maybe because they put the restaurant’s own name on it..

A clean-tasting gukbap. Pretty close to eating it at the shop.

Sangha Farm clam chowder

There’s finally somewhere in Korea selling clam chowder, so I picked it up, but it feels a little short on clams.

Just so-so..

Shin Ramyun Black dubu kimchi

Throw in some tofu and some kimchi and boil it, and it’s tasty.

BBQ Chicken

I got it as a gift so I put in an order.. fried chicken really is delicious. I’m dieting these days, so I never eat chicken of my own accord though.

Nolboo budae jjigae ramyeon

“This is not ramyeon,” it claims, but it is ramyeon, and the taste is just so-so.

Ssalkong Danbaek soy protein

The prep is a bit of a hassle. You soak it in water for a while, drain it completely, then stir-fry it with the seasoning sauce.. The taste isn’t bad, but it’s too much trouble, so I doubt I’ll buy it again..

I think the regular one tastes better.

3-minute curry

3-minute curry is a favorite of mine these days.. toss in whatever ingredients you have and add a splash of fish sauce at the end, and the flavor really comes alive.

The strawberries are about the size of a child’s fist..

But the taste is just ordinary strawberry.. no more, no less.. I don’t think it’s worth what it costs.

Seaweed soup

I found out that miyeokguk is cheap and easy to make. Especially if you keep a quick version like this on hand, I can’t feel much difference from HMR.
