A mandu place has opened in my neighborhood. These days it looks like they have a branch on Garosu-gil too.

It is not a small place. I got the feeling they had a franchise in mind from the very start.

I like mandu and I like mandu-guk to begin with, so I am the type to happily eat anything that is halfway decent, but a place this good deserves to be called properly good.

It made for a fine lunch. It struck me that a dish like mandu-guk, one you never get tired of, is better suited to staying in business for a long time.
