There is a little cluster of good restaurants next to Won Daegutang in Samgakji. One of them is Pyongyangjip, which is famous for its naejang gomtang, offal gomtang.

It sits right on a crossroads, so it is easy to find. I would love to try the other dishes too, but I have nobody to come all the way out here with, so I just got the naejang gomtang to take away.

Plated it up and dug in..

It was packed with ingredients, and I could barely taste any of the off-flavour you get from offal. It earns the name gomtang. A famous old place that has kept going all these years really is different somehow.
