I’ve been working my way through the gukbap places in Seoul I haven’t been to yet… though I’ll probably be too busy to get to all of them…
Anyway, the first stop is Buyeong Doganitang.
The place
I came to Samcheong-dong quite a bit back when it was the hot neighborhood, but I only went to the fancy spots then… it never even crossed my mind to come here…
Doganitang
It’s good. It might feel a little pricey, but I think it’s the places with real quality that survive the longest.
The spread
These days I don’t think there’s any food as satisfying as gukbap.

A great meal. It’s far, so I won’t be coming often, but you never know what life will throw at you, so it doesn’t hurt to know it’s there…
