I heard there was a great yakiniku place in Shinagawa, so I went to check it out.

This is the place

It’s connected directly to the station, so access is great. The problem is that it’s so popular that reservations are hard to get… you can pretty much forget about same-day bookings.

They’re open for lunch too, and they even sell a 3,465 yen kalbi set. Wow…

The drinks are so-so…

The namul is tasty too.

Maybe because there’s a market nearby, the quality is on another level.

This is the famous Gold Kalbi

I have no idea how they prepare it, but it’s genuinely rich and nutty.

The Gold Kalbi was so good I ordered another plate!

I’ve tried so hard to go back to this place, but reservations just aren’t easy. I’ll have to try again soon…
