Plated in Seongsu-dong got a bit famous from Baek Jong-won’s Alley Restaurant. I would never have gone here on my own dime, but somehow I ended up visiting.
Jangguk (clear soy broth)
This one stirred up quite a lot of talk, but it’s really nothing special, so I don’t get why people made a fuss over it..
Soup, I think..
It’s so-so.
Tonkatsu
It looks very big, but it’s thin. That’s not a bad thing though, and it’s a decent portion for one person. The taste isn’t bad either..
This was the chicken katsu..
Hmm.. this one was a bit..
Hamburg steak
This one was ordinary too..
Overall it feels like a Western-style restaurant with nice plating. The prices aren’t bad for what it is, either.. If you don’t like the food, just don’t go; I’m not sure there’s any reason to bash it.
