I heard there was a great makguksu place in Bangbae-dong, so I went to check it out. Naturally, they use 100% buckwheat.

They start pressing the noodles the moment you order, so it takes a little while.

Of all the makguksu I’ve had in Seoul, this might be the top. They were expanding the shop when I visited, and I could see why. Given the location it’s hard for me to come often, but I’ll be thinking of it when summer rolls around.
