You probably have no idea where Yangpyeong-dong is, but it’s a short walk from Dangsan Station. It’s also not far from the 1500 bus stop. I’d heard Ttosunine’s doenjang jjigae was amazing, so I went to check it out… well… it was more ordinary than I’d expected. But the price is so absurdly low that the value for money has to be the best in the universe.

I only ordered a 6,000-won doenjang jjigae, yet they brought out live coals. The pressure to order some meat to grill…
Doenjang jjigae
Of all the doenjang jjigae I’ve eaten out, the number one was probably Sanbul Deungsim. Quite a few Korean BBQ places do a good one too. This place is also right up there among BBQ-joint doenjang jjigae.
