An authentic haejangguk place has opened in Gangnam. It’s called Jin Haejang, and it looks for all the world like it was modelled on Jungang Haejang in Samseong-dong.
The entrance
Jungang Haejang is said to be packed all the time, and Gangnam Station is close to where I live, so this is a decent option for me.

Haejangguk
The bowl was generous and it tasted good, so I was pretty satisfied. Compared to Jungang Haejang or the Yangpyeong haejangguk places in the alleys near Sinsa Station, I couldn’t tell much of a difference. The only question is when I’ll next have a reason to go for haejangguk… I haven’t been drinking much lately…
