Search for La Chinata and you’ll find it’s a cosmetics brand famous in Barcelona, the kind local guides swear by. I’d heard a rumor that an acquaintance I’ve known for years had started importing it to Korea himself, and now he’s even opened a cafe. Here’s hoping it’s a huge hit!
The entrance
I dropped by without expecting much, and it turned out to be a pretty big place.

I don’t know much about cosmetics, but apparently they bring it in at prices barely different from what you’d pay in Spain. Nothing felt overpriced at all. I tried a sample of the essence, loved the scent, and bought it right there on the spot.

There are simple desserts and drinks, and coffee too. They even sell Spanish beer.

They’re about to start importing food products too, olive oil among them, and I’m really looking forward to that.
