I stopped by Isetan Shinjuku to pick up a cake from L’Authentique and came home with their 2017 Christmas cake catalogue. It was so beautifully made that when I posted it on Twitter it went past 5,000 retweets.. a first in my life.. Anyway, here are the photos I took back then.

Overall it’s a little pricier than ordering straight from the shops.. but heading out somewhere far to buy a cake around Christmas is a chore in itself, so buying at Isetan is a perfectly good option, I think. As for me, I bought mine at the cake shop five minutes from home.
