Head from the south exit of Shinjuku Station toward the Oedo Line and you come across Kajitsuen Liber. I thought I had been to Shinjuku plenty of times, but I only just found out a place like this existed. Thanks go to the Netflix dessert-focused foodie drama “Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman”. It is genuinely fun, though I am not sure whether you can watch it in Korea. The actor’s performance is no joke..
The cakes
There are lots of kinds.
The fruit
They are a bit pricey, but the quality is top-notch.

I ordered a meal.
Salad
It is unusual that fruit comes with it.
Blue crab pasta
The crab is frozen, so there is not much meat to pick out, but the sauce was seriously rich and deep. When it is this good, you have to call it a great restaurant.
Fruit sandwich
The fruit is fresh and delicious, and I have no way to describe it. It looks tasty just from the photo.
Today’s pick
I picked a cake for dessert, and well.. it is basically just a chunk of fruit.
The kitchen
Fresh fruit and dishes that suit it, nothing more to ask for. It seems like it would work fine for a get-together in Shinjuku too.
