I picked up a Kouign Tatin at Philippe Conticini, the new shop in Ginza Six.
The packaging
Pretty, isn’t it.
Round desserts
Quite a distinctive style.

The apple inside was just so-so, but the caramelized pastry was seriously sweet. That is what you eat French desserts for.
The cake
A light, refreshing taste. High level stuff. It made me want to try the other items on the menu too.
