The general vibe
You can pay with a transit IC card. Japan has come a long way with going electronic, and lots of places now take e-money. Not quite on China’s level, but it will only get better by the Olympics.
Basil beef
Not cheap, but the quality was good, so it was a tasty one.
Idols..
What I find really curious is that today’s major idols are nothing special. It is pretty much all AKB-affiliated groups, yet the fans who actually show up in big numbers at the venue are fans of minor idols who never appear on TV. I suspect otaku culture and mainstream content are gradually splitting apart.

The food really is good, but it is hot, it is expensive, and you have to queue, so it is a bit of a mixed bag. If the idol shows are your main reason to come it makes sense, but just coming for the food is a bit meh..
