A salaryman’s lunch is never anything special, but I am jotting these down for the record.
Ramen
A slightly spicy ramen, Sichuan-style I think. It was okay, nothing more.
Meat at Risuke
A small izakaya in Hamamatsucho that serves a fairly decent lunch for 1,000 yen.
Kyurin, a ramen shop at DiverCity in Odaiba
Being part of the Rokurinsha family, it is at quite a high level. Tsukemen feels a bit heavy for me these days so I do not go often, but every now and then I get a craving.
Peyoung chocolate yakisoba
I spotted this absurd cup noodle and had to buy it.
The result..
I nearly threw up halfway through.. The chocolate flavor was seriously intense..
Taimeiken
It is pricey, so I rarely go for lunch, but I treat myself once in a while. A person cannot live on the same food forever.
Karakarauo
One of the very few cup noodles that are genuinely spicy. Who knew a minor brand like Sugakiya would come up with a masterpiece like this..
A massive dose of chili powder goes in.
It is spicy in a truly Korean way. Limited-edition cup noodles like this vanish quickly, so I stocked up in advance.
Anago and battera mixed sushi at Yonesaku
A sushi place in Hamamatsucho where you can get pretty tasty sushi at lunch. It is a bit far, so I have not been going much lately.
Bolognese pasta
A pasta place at DiverCity, and the food is good. Mostly I go there with clients who visit the office..
