With spring here, I did a loop around the Hongdae area.

It’s supposed to become a park, but I’m already worried about how the neighbourhood will change.
Yeonhui Gimbap
Wandering through Yeonhui-dong, I spotted a gimbap shop with a queue out front. There isn’t much to buy in Yeonhui-dong, so I figured I’d at least take some of this home and got in line.

Tasty. Now I get why it’s popular.
Yeonhui-dong has a lot of great places, the trouble is it’s a bit hard to get to… Still, if it keeps developing at this pace, I’ll probably find myself going there more often.

It’s cherry blossom season in Yeonnam-dong too.

Mikaya’s cherry blossom Mont Blanc
The best cake I’ve had in a while. It’s a modern take on the flavour of sakura mochi. For me it brought back memories of Japan, which made it taste even better.
