Daesungjib is famous for its dogani (beef knee cartilage). They moved recently and the place got bigger and roomier, but the line was still long.. wildly popular.

Dongnimmun

It’s on the main road across the street from the gate.

There’s quite a lot of dogani in it, and dipping it in the sauce makes me crave soju. When I’m old and have time on my hands, living by wandering from one place like this to the next sounds like fun. A career change from lonely middle-aged gourmet to lonely grandpa gourmet..

This was the peak of autumn.
