There’s a branch of Sushi no Midori called Katsu inside the Sogo department store in Yokohama, so I went with a friend. It’s a conveyor-belt sushi place, but the value is so good there’s always a long line.
The entrance
It’s on the department store’s restaurant floor.
Buri (yellowtail)
Hotate (scallop)
Torigai (cockle)
Hotate
Salmon
Ika (squid)
Buri, I think…
Ebi (prawn)
In person these are monstrously oversized. With ingredients this fresh, there’s no way it could taste bad.
Shirasu (whitebait)
Seared maguro
Seared salmon
Anago (sea eel)
Extra-large size.
Ebi fry
Salmon
We ate really well and it came to under 3,000 yen a head. Amazing value.
